Okado Masayuki. The Existence of Life After Death. Medical practice examples

At the unprecedented international online conference "Life After Death. Fiction and Facts," held May 22, 2021, on the platform ALLATRAUNITES, the famous Japanese scientist Okado Masayuki spoke.

Okado Masayuki, Ph.D. professor at Chubu University, Department of General Education, Graduate School of Global Human Science.

Dr. Okado has devoted his life to the study of phenomena indicating the existence of consciousness outside the human body, studies of memories of past lives in children, and studies of examples of near-death experiences in patients.

In the beginning, his academic interest lay in the field of linguistics, especially generative grammar, which since the middle of the twentieth century has been considered a universal grammar embedded in the human brain.

Gradually becoming disillusioned with the idea that everything, including universal grammar, is in our brains, Dr. Okado began to wonder: so where are our thoughts and consciousness?

Faced with interesting cases in his practice involving the hemispheres of the brain, Dr. Okado concluded that our speech abilities are not in the brain. It has been observed that no matter what part of the brain a human has damaged, he still has the will and thinking. That is, brain damage cannot impair a human's ability to think.

For example, «due to epilepsy, the girl lost half of her brain, and this became determinative of her language skills. In other words, she lost the ability to speak completely when she was 3 years old. But when she turned 7, she was already bilingual».

In his speech, the scientist cites clinical cases known in science which confirm that human speech abilities are outside the brain, and that even during near-death experiences, when the brain is completely shut off, a person retains the ability to think and talk. All this led Dr. Okado to study the phenomenon of the existence of life after death.

For example: «The case of Pam Reynolds, who underwent a very special brain surgery, is well known. She had a large aneurysm in the center of her brain. Of course, you can't just open up your head and cut your brain open like that. So, her body was cooled to a temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius. Her heart stopped, and the EEG (an electroencephalogram)of her brain became completely flat. And medically, she was completely dead. But even in that situation, she was able to hear and see what was really going on around her. To correctly describe how the operation was performed and so on. In my opinion, this is one of the most extreme cases».

After becoming acquainted with the research of American scientists such as Ian Stevenson, Bruce Grayson and others, Dr. Okado decided to do something similar in his country, as he considered it extremely important, but did not find similar research among Japanese scientists and doctors.

Since Dr. Okado's area of expertise was linguistics, he approached the study of the exciting issue of the position of this science and investigated the facts of reincarnation through linguistics.

He shared another fact that struck him. It is that in hypnotic regression therapy, some therapists have reported cases where people in regressive hypnosis have been able to speak other languages.

In his second presentation at the conference, Dr. Okado presented the results of his study of patients' past lives and his experiences with sub-personalities, citing illustrative clinical cases from his practice.

For example, the officially documented case of a Japanese woman who remembered her so-called "past life" in a small Nepalese village during a hypnotherapist's session.

«And I thought it was a great discovery. And I asked the therapist and that woman: could you do another session to see if the Nepali sub-personality would manifest again or not? We did a session on May 9, 2009. And she successfully regressed to a sub-personality called Rataraj».

Thus, during the sеance there was a conversation in Nepali, a language the woman had never known before. During the 24-minute dialogue, Ratharaju gave the facts of his past life, his name, the name of his wife, his children, other relatives, the name of the tribe and settlement where he lived, and the age at which he died. The accuracy and authenticity of this information, after careful verification and study, was confirmed. For this purpose an expedition to Nepal and several examinations were organized, in one of which a woman was tested on a lie detector to see if she knew the Nepali language and whether she had ever learned it.

Thanks to the experience of Dr. Okado, which he shared in his speech, it becomes clear how important it is for everyone to have knowledge and understanding in matters of his life, death and after-death fate.

As long as a human lives, he has the power of attention, choice and responsibility for that. This becomes decisive in the after-death fate. It is important to remember that hell and heaven are not somewhere out there, but inside each of us!
